No. Florida is a direct-access state, so you can book with Dr. Dani Spratt, D.C. yourself without a physician referral. If your case would benefit from medical input, she coordinates directly with our on-site MD and DO rather than sending you elsewhere.
How many chiropractic visits will I need?
Most patients with an acute complaint — neck pain, low back pain, a tweaked shoulder — are seen 1–2 times per week for the first few weeks, then taper as symptoms resolve. Dr. Spratt gives you a specific plan with an endpoint after your first exam. We do not sell open-ended long-term contracts.
Does a chiropractic adjustment hurt?
An adjustment is generally not painful. Most people feel immediate relief and a sense of release, though some experience mild soreness for a day afterward — similar to how you feel after a new workout. Techniques are adjusted for age, bone density, and comfort level, including low-force options.
