Patient text messaging program

Haven Psychiatry and Wellness, LLC operates Haven Psychiatry and Wellness Patient Text Messaging. The program provides appointment reminders and practice notifications sent through our patient portal to patients who opt in to receive text messages.

Consent and participation

By opting in to this program and providing your mobile phone number, you agree to receive appointment reminders and practice notifications from Haven Psychiatry and Wellness, LLC at that number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care. You may withdraw your consent at any time by following the opt-out instructions below.

Message frequency and rates

Message and data rates may apply.

Your mobile carrier's messaging and data charges are your responsibility. Message delivery may depend on your carrier and network availability.

Help and opting out

Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out.

After you opt out, you will no longer receive messages from this program, except a confirmation of your opt-out request. For assistance with the program or your messaging preferences, contact erin@myhavenwellness.com or call 1-888-984-4456.

Privacy and secure communication

Please review our Privacy Policy for information about the collection, use, and protection of personal information and SMS opt-in data. This program does not replace our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

Do not reply to text messages with sensitive health information or use text messaging for urgent clinical concerns. Use the secure patient portal or contact the practice for clinical communication.

Medical emergencies

Text messaging is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for medical evaluation or treatment. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call 911. You may also call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
